Eli | The Sweetest Thing

In just the first six months of life, babies more than double in size; they have learned to sit up, roll around, and flip over. Remarkably, it is not until this age that eye colour has finally settled at its permanent shade. Eli has mastered all these skills and settled on a beautiful shade of blue – but unlike most other six-month-olds who sleep for six to eight hours per day, Eli has re-appropriated those hours to the game of peek-a-book and the mastery of the most endearing expressions. He’s the light of Mandi & Tammy’s life and he totally lit up our day!

Melissa | Lovely Day

Melissa of Lovely Day Photo is a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Buffalo who recently came up to Canada for a portrait session with us. Like us, she hadn’t had photos of herself taken in a while because she is always so busy photographing others! One would think that photographers, most readily equipped with the means for image making, would have more photos of themselves. But this lack of self-interest seems to be a pretty widespread phenomena among photographers… so we were all too happy to finally capture Melissa with two of her most prized possessions: her camera, and her awesome yellow scooter.

We enjoyed Melissa’s fantastic sense of style and lively personality – not to mention the opportunity to chase her around on that scooter! Her smile and easygoing personality are contagious. From personal experience she genuinely cares about clients and seems to really go the extra mile! We are happy to have a great new photographer friend down Buffalo way :)

Recently, we met up with Rachel of Petite Details to capture some images for her upcoming new website. Rachel is an excellent wedding planner with an absolutely wonderful personality–which is probably the most important thing on your wedding day. When we met, it was only a matter of minutes before we felt like long time friends. Austin and his Crew | A Family Session

Little Austin has only recently joined us in this world but he has immediately taken up leadership within a local household. Recently, he took his family to the park for one final play day before winter sets in. His big sister Ryley was an absolute pleasure to hang out with; she was rocking awesome poses the whole time and impressed everyone with her jumping, balancing, and swinging abilities. We loved her energy. We can’t wait to meet the next little addition to the family!
