Kevin and Emma came all the way from Montreal to say their I-Dos – which were probably the longest we’ve ever heard! Unlike more traditional ceremonies, Kevin and Emma were able to say everything they wanted to each other. Even though we couldn’t exactly keep up with their fast-paced exchange (in French!) the depth of their love was beautiful to witness. We were so honoured to be their witnesses, and so impressed with all the little details Emma included: Rocky Racoon was the ring bearer, Kevin’s boutonierre was made of a selection of his favourite comic books; even their signing pen was a memento of past travels. Clifton hill turned out to be a microcosm of many of their favourite things too… bright colours and flashing disco lights, dinosaurs, and candy hearts! What an amazing day!

Finding true love is an achievement. But that being said, it does not mean that you can simply rest once you find it. This is particularly true for Kathryn & Curtis, who travelled for over two days to get to the right place to make it official. After a long journey together from Moosonee, we joined them and their family for their special day at Inn on the Twenty. There was so much excitement for these two–just about everyone there had a camera in their hands; and Kathryn & Curtis couldn’t keep their hands off each other! We had such a great time as they giggled and kissed their way through the celebration. They even sealed it with two first kisses! :) When you have a love like theirs, it doesn’t matter how long the journey is. The longer the better.
