Ever After February 12 2012 In so many ways, Danya and Greg are straight out of a fairytale. Danya is more beautiful than any Disney princess and Greg is her handsome prince – and they both have hearts of gold. In celebration of Danya’s time volunteering at an orphanage in Swaziland, Africa, donations were made to the New Hope Centre orphanage in lieu of wedding favours. As a really cute touch, both Danya and Greg also wore TOMS shoes (for every pair of shoes purchased through this company, a second pair will be donated to a child in need). They even make extra sparkly TOMS (for brides like Danya who love all things sparkly and bright)! Our favourite event of the evening was a surprise performance by Danya’s dad and his former Image Band, playing all of her favourite love songs. The world is lucky to have such a sweet and caring couple as Danya and Greg <3

Ever After December 23 2011 Gabi and Dan, like us, are nature lovers. They live to travel, see the world, and experience the marvels of our planet. Needless to say, we were elated to hear that they actually spent time helping baby sea turtles cross the beach and start their new lives in the great wide ocean. We’re so jealous, but feel just as priveleged to have been part of their special day and to have witnessed their venture into the ‘ocean’ to begin their new lives together.

Ever After November 27 2011 Christine & Tyna’s special day took place at the Ancaster Mill. It was a day filled with surprises! Excitement built as they anticipated their “first look” at each other before the ceremony; We were pleasantly surprised by Tyna’s awesome neon orange converse shoes; and there was even a little surprise during the vows, when a vase of floating candles cracked and spilled water over the hearth. But perhaps the biggest and best surprise of the day came for Christine, when Tyna presented her with a special diamond ring when they saw each other for the first time. These are the moments that we live for, and the moments that make reality better than dreams.

Ever After November 21 2011 We’ve mentioned before that we love small weddings, but Cathie and Gar took our excitement to a whole new level! Their wedding, at Inn on the Twenty, was so intimate that not only were we the only ones there, we were even the witnesses. What a cool wedding “first” for Afterglow. Congratulations Cathie & Gar!
