Tara & Chad | What are you doing New Year’s Eve?

Maybe it’s much too early in the game,
Oh, but I thought I’d ask you just the same,
What are you doing New Year’s,
New Year’s eve?

Who’s gonna be the one to hold you tight,
When it’s exactly twelve o’clock at night;
Welcoming in the New Year
New Year’s eve?

Maybe I’m crazy to suppose,
I’d ever be the one you chose,
Out of a thousand invitations
You’d receive…

Ooh, but in case I stand one little chance,
Here comes the jackpot question in advance,
What are you doing New Year’s
New Year’s Eve?

Melissa & Mike | Down by the Old Mill Stream

The backdrop for Melissa & Mike’s wedding is undoubtedly one of the prettiest settings in Toronto. The Old Mill Inn and Spa, perched above the Humber River, is not only one of Ontario’s historic treasures but is also considered a tradition for many families like Melissa’s, who have celebrated within its walls for generations.

In keeping with tradition, Mike and his clan dressed in scottish attire, complete with all their accoutrements. They even started off their day with a glass of scotch and choreographed a “sporn dance” for lack of a better term (featured below).

Our favourite part of the day was watching Mike help Melissa onto a bellman cart so he could scoot her around the hotel. The glint in their eyes at the prospect of causing mischief was a sweet affirmation that love is even greater when your mate is also your best friend and partner in crime.

Jamie & Trevor | The True Colour of Love

Does love have a colour? There are those who say it is a rainbow, others who say red. A rare few would say that it’s pink. But there is something special about this colour. The colour pink epitomizes the world of glitz and glam (you may already know Jamie from Glam Gorgeous Salon) and was central to Jamie & Trevor’s gala-inspired wedding day vision. Pink symbolizes the love of their close friends, each of whom helped make their love even richer. Pink is unique in the way it combines the power of the colour red with the innocence of pure white. It has a strangely energized calmness; it is subtle but bright and stirs a feeling like no other colour can. What truer colour than the colour pink for Jamie & Trevor’s love?
